"Contract is not a trilogy. It is a link between the underworld and terrorism. It's not bleak and atmospheric like Company or Satya. It's a Bollywood masala film packaged in a raw, rustic and realistic manner. It has nothing to do with terrorism. Here, my protagonist Adhvik is very susceptive and void," reveals Ramu.
Phoonk, on the other hand is a horror genre. "It's based on black magic. It's an interesting and redoubtable film but not as scary as Bhoot. The susceptible matter is so monumental in magnitude that even if you don't believe in it, you are start believing. There are forces, which we refuse to recognize and accept and try to find a scientific way of explaining it," he says.
Ramu has been a mentor to many newcomers in the industry right from Urmila Matonkdar to Randeep Hooda. Now he has taken Adhvik under his wing. Apart from Urmila, no one of the parties have been successful. "Those who have made it have done it on their own steam.
They have reached there with the right film, right place and right subject. I did nothing."
